Recipe- Barbacoa Tacos
🌮 Barbacoa Tacos
Tender, smoky, and packed with flavor — these Barbacoa Tacos are slow-cooked to perfection and finished with your favorite Lickety Nick’s hot sauce.
📝 Ingredients
- 2–3 lb beef roast (top round works great)
 - 1 tbsp paprika
 - 1 tbsp garlic powder
 - 1 tsp salt
 - 1 tsp black pepper
 - 1 tsp cumin
 - 1 tsp oregano
 - Taco shells or tortillas
 - Your favorite toppings (onion, cilantro, lime, salsa, etc.)

🔥 Instructions
1. Season the Beef
Mix paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, cumin, and oregano in a small bowl. Rub the blend evenly over the beef roast.
2. Cook Until Tender
-
Slow Cooker: Add the roast and a splash of water or broth. Cook on low for 6–8 hours until tender and shreddable.
 -
Oven: Place in a covered roasting dish at 300°F for 3–4 hours until the beef pulls apart easily.

3. Shred the Beef
Remove from the pot and shred with two forks. Return to the juices and mix well to soak up the flavor.
4. Build Your Tacos
Warm your taco shells or tortillas. Add the barbacoa, pile on your favorite toppings, and finish with a drizzle of Lickety Nick’s hot sauce.
5. Serve & Enjoy
Time to dig in! These tacos bring smoky depth, savory spice, and just the right amount of kick.
